Access Ramp Alteration

Concrete Access Ramp Installation – Improved Accessibility for Bank Entrance

We recently completed a concrete access ramp installation to improve wheelchair access at a bank branch entrance.

The existing shopfront threshold created a level difference between the external path and internal floor, preventing smooth wheelchair entry. Our solution involved carefully reducing the shopfront level and installing a new in-situ concrete ramp to provide compliant, safe access into the building.

🔧 Scope of Works Included:

• Careful breakout of existing floor construction
• Preparation of formation and level adjustments
• Installation of shuttering and edge detailing
• Pouring and finishing of reinforced concrete ramp
• Precision levelling to meet accessibility requirements
• Clean reinstatement around the shopfront area

The works were carried out in a controlled environment, ensuring minimal disruption and a high-quality finish suitable for a public-facing premises.

✅ Level threshold access achieved
✅ Improved wheelchair and mobility access
✅ Durable, long-lasting concrete solution
✅ Enhanced safety and inclusivity

Accessibility improvements are not just about compliance — they’re about making buildings usable for everyone.
